We install keypads, fobs, and card readers, so you decide who gets into the building.
What is access control?
Access control adds a code, a fob, or a card to a door. Each person gets their own, and when someone moves out or leaves the job, you turn off their fob instead of changing the lock. It works on lobby doors, office suites, service doors, and back entrances.
When do people call us for this?
- A rental building wants fobs on the front door.
- Too many keys are out there and you want to stop handing out more.
- An office wants each person to have their own code.
- An old keypad stopped working and needs to be replaced.
Does it work with my intercom?
Often, yes. Many buildings pair a fob reader with the intercom, so residents use a fob and guests buzz up. We look at what you have and tell you what can stay and what should change.
Will we still have a key?
Yes. Most doors keep a key cylinder as a backup, and we can put it on a master key if you want one.
How do I get a quote?
Call us or text photos of the door, the frame, and any reader or keypad on it now. We give you a written quote before any work starts.
How does the visit go?
We come out with the parts your call and your photo point to. Before we touch anything, we show you what is worn or broken and what we plan to do. When the work is done, we test every lock and key with you before we leave.
Questions we get
Can you add a reader to an old building door?
Usually, yes. Older doors sometimes need an electric strike or new hardware, and we tell you before we start.
Who manages the fobs?
You do. We show you how to add and turn off fobs or codes when the job is done.
